  • "The food was so delicious!! I went to a party and they cater! The food was amazing. It felt like I was actually inside of the restaurant eating but with the comfort of my home :)"

  • “I've been working downtown for a few years. I consistently crave fresh spring rolls for lunch, but there have been very few places, if not any, in walking distance from my office. I was so excited to stop by for lunch today. The spring rolls were 10/10. I will definitely be back!”

  • “Wow! I just had my first experience eating at Buddha Bowls and Rolls. Can I just say, YUM!!! Recommended from a friend of mine, best advice I took from her thus far. We ordered several things in order to try it out and were pleasantly surprised with each item. The Shrimp Spring Rolls were packed with flavor; unlike many others I've tried. The shrimp itself was flavorful; the fresh mint and cilantro made this roll magical! The peanut sauce that came with the roll, just pushed it over the top of magical yumminess! The Wonchos were delicious as well. Who doesn't like wonton chips topped with a ton of flavorful things? I tried the char-grilled pork wonchos. Topped with pickled carrots, daikon, and jalapeños, cilantro, sesame seeds, and drizzled with Sriracha Aioli, Thai Basil Salsa Verde, and Roasted Red Bell Pepper Sambal Salsa. Soooooo good!!!! I also tried the lumpias. They were some of the best lumpias I've had. They were very meaty and tasty. Last but certainly not least, the Chicken Thai Soup was delicious and some of the best that I have. Packed with flavor, the crispy shallots added an extra "Je ne sais quoi" along with the lime and cilantro. To highly recommend this place is an understatement. Cannot wait till go back. Cannot wait!”

  • "What an amazing addition to downtown! The food is fresh and there is an option for everyone. My favorite has to be the spring rolls with picking your own protein choice. The options are endless, the sauces are fresh and the food is to die for. The staff is so friendly and is helpful with menu choices if you are stuck and need a recommendation. Now to talk about the drinks! The Ube-Bae Matcha Latte has to be my favorite and I even get an extra one to put in the fridge for the next day because the addiction is real. They have seating which I took advantage of before a music circus show and it was great! Can't wait to go back again."

  • "I highly recommend stopping by here to try some delicious food. When I came across this place on UberEats, I couldn't resist checking it out in person. And let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a variety of dishes, including lemon grass chicken rice plate, teriyaki chicken rice plate, grilled pork rice plate, lemon grass chicken and Taiwanese sausage noodle bowl, and pork spring rolls. And for drinks, I tried dragonfruit sugarcane, Thai tea, and Ube latte. Trust me, the food and drinks exceeded my expectations! Each item was bursting with flavor and freshness. I particularly appreciated how they individually plastic wrapped the spring rolls to prevent them from sticking together. The staff and manager were incredibly friendly and provided fantastic recommendations. Needless to say, I will definitely be a returning customer."

  • "Foods great. Service is great. Ambiance is great. Kind of like an Asian style Chipotle but better."

  • “Buddha Bowls and Rolls is a standout addition to Sacramento's dining scene and quickly becoming a beloved staple. This Vietnamese-inspired gem serves up an impressive selection of fresh, flavorful dishes perfect for any craving. From create-your-own spring rolls, banh mi sandwiches, and hearty noodle or rice bowls to a tempting array of appetizers, there's truly something for everyone.

One of the highlights of Buddha Bowls and Rolls is their wide range of protein options, catering to both meat lovers and vegans alike. The freshness of the ingredients is evident in every bite, and each dish feels thoughtfully crafted. Their drink menu is equally remarkable, featuring unique options like freshly pressed sugar cane juice (you can even watch them juice the cane right there!), alongside matcha and rich Vietnamese coffee.

For those with a sweet tooth, their dessert selection is just as enticing. Buddha Bowls and Rolls offers delicious and unique cookies, including mango sticky rice, pandan, and ube varieties--a delightful twist on traditional flavors that's hard to find elsewhere.

The staff is always friendly, making for a welcoming experience every time. Whether you're a Sacramento local or just passing through, Buddha Bowls and Rolls is a must-visit spot that guarantees a memorable meal.”

  • "Great food, good portions, reasonable prices. Got the tri tip, my wife had the crispy tofu noodle bowl. Excellent tastes, everything was cooked perfectly, venue was clean and very modern. The drinks were good too, had the blackberry lime and the ube-bae coffee. Will definitely come back! A real banger"

  • "The meal was exceptionally delectable, incredibly fresh, and I will definitely return. The staff was courteous and helpful, and they prepared the food very quickly. However, the freshness of the food was also commendable. 10/10"

  • “The freshest, most delicious spring rolls and sugar cane drinks!! Choose your protein and sauce, so many options available. We also got the night market crispy tofu bites- amazing! This place is a must try- tons of fresh made rice bowls, noodle bowls, and spring rolls. The sugar cane drinks are made from actual pieces of sugarcane pressed in front of you, and the drinks are so refreshing! The spring roll comes wrapped to maintain freshness. It has amazing flavor balance with a surprise crunchy element. We will definitely be back!”

  • “Fast, fresh, and delicious! We were craving some fresh spring rolls and found this place here on Yelp. We got the rolls with the grilled shrimp, and some noodle bowls, one with coconut shrimp and the other with the smoked five spice teriyaki chicken. All of it was super fresh and so good, will definitely be back to try some other dishes and I want to try all of the protein options.”

  • “The food was SO good! I had the noodle bowl with pork and the OG Buddha sauce and would order the same thing over and over again. The customer service was amazing and it was quick, reasonably priced, and delicious. I will be back!”

  • “I just tried this place for the first time today, and I can guarantee that it won't be the last! I got the char-grilled pork rice bowl with napa tahini salad and added in 2 lumpia rolls with a side of soy lime lemongrass sauce. The barbeque flavor on the pork was absolutely delicious and the meat was tender. The salad was fresh and tasty and even the rice was perfectly executed. I'm not usually a fan of lumpia rolls and I was going to give them to my son, but I took one bite and ate it all. I wish they would bottle that soy lime lemongrass sauce - it was that good. My son got the five-spice chicken teriyaki with siracha aioli and no jalapenos. He said that with his first bite, all he could taste was the topping, but after the second bite all the flavors came together perfectly in his mouth, and it was one of the tastiest sandwiches he has ever had. He also got the tater tots with Thai basil aioli, which I tried. They were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside and the Thai basil aioli is another thing that I wish they would bottle. Yum! All in all, this is now one of my favorite places and I can't wait to try everything on the menu. I would also like to add that the staff was very prompt and friendly. Nothing bad to say about this place.”

  • “Buddha Bowls and Rolls in the CA Natural Resources Agency cafeteria is my go-to spot for lunch when I'm in office! I'm a huge fan of their original location, and this one is even more convenient for me. Although situated inside a State building, Buddha Bowls and Rolls is open to the public. Inside is very spacious, and you order at the counter then take a seat while you wait for your name to be called. I ordered the Big Buddha Sandwich with grilled pork (bahn mi), and they do not skimp out! Portions are just as generous as their 14th street location and I believe both locations carry the same menu. I'll definitely be returning and appreciate this option for office goers in downtown. Keep it up!”
